Paul Leveriza’s training in design began in his youth at the studio of his architect-father in the Philippines and culminated at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, where he received his Master of Architecture with Distinction. Throughout his academic and professional career, Paul has collaborated with and worked under the tutelage of several award-winning architects, including Cathy Simon FAIA in San Francisco, Barkow-Leibinger Arkitekten in Germany, Allied Works Architecture in Portland OR, and the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Rogers in London.
Since joining Perkins + Will in 2005, Paul has been a major design collaborator in significant projects and competitions in major cities in the USA and Asia. His expertise in 3D visualization and rapid prototyping enable both architect and client to achieve an enhanced understanding of the spatial implications and experience in each project in which he is involved. In addition, he is fascinated with the manipulation of materiality, light, and shadow, tapping them as a catalyst for linking visual phenomenology and experience in architecture with building performance, sustainability, and program.
Paul is currently a Senior Project Designer at the San Francisco-based firm TEF Design where he is working on a Major Renovation of Terminal 3 of the San Francisco Airport (SFO).
